What does the role involve?

As part of the embedded software team, you will be working on different tasks concerning our battery-powered direct fastening tools, such as

  • development of data evaluation tools with graphical user interface, using Python,
  • adaption of existing embedded software projects, using C/C++ and e.g. STM32 microcontrollers,
  • design and implementation of a simulation environment for testing our embedded software projects, using C/C++.
Depending on your interests and the day-to-day needs, you’ll have the possibility to dive into very different domains, such as BLDC motor control, Software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing or Bluetooth connectivity.

We have 800 of the world’s best engineers developing and testing tomorrow’s technical solutions in our innovation center in Liechtenstein and Kaufering.

What you need is:

  • Currently studying mechatronics, electrical or mechanical engineering, or similar
  • Good programming skills in C or C++
  • Experience with microcontrollers, embedded systems
  • Python knowledge is beneficial
  • Will to learn and work independently, take decisions and assume responsibilities
  • Good communication skills in English
